We stayed here for 4 nights with family, this was also our wedding location. The Villa is absolutely stunning and the staff are incredible. The breakfast and dinner that was prepared was the best food we’ve had.

“Paradise”
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property for 3 nights. Tik, Chef A and all the staff are the warmest, most professional and hospitable people we have come to know. Thank you so much for such a memorable time and we plan on returning for a longer stay next holiday. As discussed with my family, it’s a piece of paradise we could easily visit every year.

“The Sunshine house”
Mactaggart called it Ban Suriya, which translates as Sunshine House, and it is certainly a testament to her breadth of vision and energy. Built in an area with dramatic sunsets and spectacular views of Anthong Marine Park, she wanted the property to take full advantage of the panorama. She chose a U-shaped design so that every room would face the sea and so that the sun would rise at the back, shine over the pool and deck area in the afternoon and set over the sea in front of the villa.

“We can't wait to return!”
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ban Suriya. This was our favorite accommodation during a 5 week SE Asia trip. The beach in front of the villa is calm, and the villa grounds are setup well for entertaining or having friends spend the day. While the villa is fantastic, Tik, the villa manager, is what truly sets this accommodation above the rest. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to return!

“Ultimate Samui Accommodation”
Amazing Samui experience thanks to Tik and the team at Ban Suriya. Compliments to the Chef on the delicious selection of food presented every single meal. We had the pleasure of a cooking lesson in the beautiful outside kitchen for one meal, which was a lot of fun.
Attention to detail by all members of staff were above and beyond.
For families with teens, Tik arranged lots of activities; quad biking through the jungle, zip lining, boat trip for snorkeling & lunch to surrounding remote islands, night markets, elephant sanctuary, just to name a few.
A day at home in the villa was also perfect for relaxing around the pool with a swim up bar, or lounging on the beach under the shade of a palm tree, kayaking, paddle boarding, out door movies in bean bags, table tennis, pool or chess, the gym if so inclined. And massages, don’t forget the massages!
Massive thank you to Tik and the team and Tom our lovely driver, for a treasure cove of holiday memories we will never forget.

“Kap Kun Ka Ban Suriya!”
We enjoyed the most magical of holidays at Ban Suriya. Stunning location, beautiful private beach, crystal clear water, warm friendly staff, luxurious accommodation, delicious food (anything you fancy - but we recommend the Thai cuisine).
Plenty to do too - from water sports to massage, personal trainers, yoga teachers and manicurists.
A fabulous week. Would go back in a flash (might need to take the extended family next time, perfection accommodation options for a larger group too).

“5 stars isn’t enough”
Our family of 12 spent 10 days at Ban Suriya over the Christmas break and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. The property is stunning, dropping immediately onto a beautiful beach. All rooms were immaculate and very large. Tik and her team were exceptional in every way (from keeping the property tidy, to table service and first aid when required!) The food from Chef Tom was a real highlight... we only ate out for two meals in 10 days!! Thank you to Tik and her team for an unforgettable holiday.
